Hey y’all! I’m Serina, a third-year Psychology and Brain Science Major from Visalia, CA. I decided to join NRHH my sophomore year because of how much fun the then executive board seemed to have when I first met them during LIT training for RHA. When I started attending meetings, I realized that everyone in the organization contributed to the nature of NRHH—they made every Thursday something to look forward to.

This year I'm looking forward to playing a bigger role in our annual events such as our joint banquet with RHA or our OTM banquet as president

I am from San Jose, CA, and I decided to join NRHH to continue my work from last year as Anacapa’s Hall Council President! Matt Ortega, Advisor

Hello!! My name is Matthew Ortega, and I am the Advisor for NRHH! I am from the San Fernando Valley (close to LA), and I went to UCSB and have spent a total of 6 years here. I got my Bachelor's in Sociology in 2021 and then ultimately came back since I missed it so much.

While here I was in Hall council for two years where I was Recognition Chair in San Nic and Athletics Chair in San Raf. I then was an RA for San Nic for two years and after graduating I spent some time working as a Special Project Assistant and then ARD of San Cat for a quarter.

Outside of work, I am really into video games as that is my main hobby. I love to watch tv shows (mostly comedy shows and anime but into a lot), watch sports (basketball and football),going to coffee shops, and hanging out with friends.

I am excited to be back and excited to work with NRHH and all of our students at UCSB! Let's have some fun.
